Refunds on bookings:

 Bookings of 9 months and more in advance: the time frame of 3 months from date booked will be given for full refund of booking.  After the period of three months (from date booked) there will be no refund of the booking fee.

Bookings of 6-8 months in advance of their stay: the time frame of 2 months from the date of booking will be given for full refund of booking fee.  After the period of 2 months (from date booked) there will be no refund of booking fee.

Bookings of 4-6 months in advance of their stay: the time frame of 1 month from the date of the booking will be given for full refund of booking fee.  After the period of 1 month (from the date booked) there will be no refund of booking fee.

Bookings of less than 4 months: there is a 48 hours policy of full refunds given (from the date booked) after which there is no refund given.

 

If a student decides to cancel a booking in advance they will be refunded their booking fee but in the unlikely circumstance a student decides not to turn up and take a room without cancelling they will not be refunded their booking Fee..

 House My Student will refund full booking fee to the student within 5 to 7 working days if they have cancelled correctly and informed the Host/Homeowner so they can re-advertise their room/accommodation ASAP.

If a student decides to leave a premises before their departure date, no refund is given but we can help them the best we can in finding another property more suitable, if we have something available.  We can not guaratee this, but will not charge a booking fee for a new premises.  Each circumstance is different and is at the discretion of the House My Student Team. Please Read Terms and conditions carefully before booking your room.

If you leave less than 1 mnth  before the original departure date you booked, please note that you will be required to pay your rent in full up until the date of your original booking. Please also inform your host as soon as possible of your new departure date, so that they can check you out under the best conditions possible.

If you leave more than 4 weeks before the original departure date you booked, a minimum of 2 weeks notice is required. (The rent will be due up to your new departure date and an additional 2 weeks compensation rental may be charged)

In the event of a Student/.Guest not satisfied with the placement: 

The student must contact House My student  and explain the situation at hand.

If the host shows that the student is not making an effort to fit into the house and does not follow the general rules, engages in illegal activities, is rude and/or impolite, then House My student may decide to terminate the placement with no refund of the placement fee. 

 If the host is not striving to maintain the standards as set by House My student then the student/Guest will be placed in a new host family without any administration fee.  

Removal: House My student  will remove any student/guest who is showing dangerous, illegal, inappropriate or unsuitable behaviour.

If a student decides to cancel a booking in advance they will be refunded their booking deposit but in the unlikely circumstance a student decides not to turn up and take a room without cancelling they will not be refunded their booking deposit.

Also if a student turns up and is not happy with the place and does not wish to take it they will get complete refund. House My Student will refund full booking deposit to the student within 3 to 4 working days if they have cancelled correctly and informed the Host/Homeowner so they can re-advertise their room/accommodation ASP.
